NEET for medical admissions
The Directorate of Medical Education in the State was “interested” in adopting NEET for the 2013-14 MBBS admission and not the Common Entrance Test (CET).

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has put the pre-university students who want to pursue medicine in 2013-14 and their parents in a dilemma.
According to the post “NEET 2013” on the website, the process of online submission of applications for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to MBBS course for 2013 will start on December 1, 2012. The test will be held on May 12, 2013.
